Configuration

To make NowPost work effectively on your store, you need to enable the Carrier Service (for rates) and Fulfillment Service (for processing).

1. Enable Carrier Service (Shipping Rates)

This allows customers to see "NowPost Pickup" options at checkout.

  1. Open the NowPost App in Shopify.
  2. Go to Settings > Shipping Rates.
  3. Toggle "Enable Carrier Service" to ON.
  4. Important: Go to your Shopify Settings > Shipping and delivery.
    • Click "Manage" on your shipping profile.
    • Click "Add rate" within your shipping zones.
    • Select "Use carrier or app to calculate rates".
    • Select NowPost from the list.
    • Click "Done" and "Save".

2. Enable Fulfillment Service

This ensures orders are automatically synced to NowPost.

  1. In the NowPost App, go to Settings > Fulfillment.
  2. Toggle "Auto-Fulfillment" to ON.
  3. When enabled, any order with "NowPost" as the shipping method will automatically be sent to us for processing.

3. Customize Widget Settings

You can customize how the pickup point selector looks.

  1. In the App, go to Appearance.
  2. Button Label: Change the text of the selection button (e.g., "Choose Pickup Location").
  3. Theme Color: Match the map widget to your store's branding.

Testing

  1. Go to your storefront.
  2. Add an item to the cart and proceed to checkout.
  3. Enter a shipping address.
  4. Verify that "NowPost Pickup Point" appears in the shipping methods list.
  5. Select it and choose a location.
