Handling Orders

The core activity of a PUDO partner is receiving packages from logistics drivers and handing them to customers (or vice versa).

Receiving Packages (Drop-off)

When a logistics driver arrives with packages for your location:

  1. Open the Partner App.
  2. Tap "Receive".
  3. Scan the QR code on the package label (or type the code manually).
  4. Confirm the number of items received.
  5. The customer gets an automatic notification: "Your package is ready for pickup!".
  6. Store the package securely in your designated area.

Handing Over (Pickup)

When a customer comes to collect:

  1. Ask for their Pickup Code (sent via SMS/Email).
  2. Tap "Handover" in the app.
  3. Enter the Pickup Code.
  4. The app will show you which package to retrieve (e.g., "Package #123 - John Doe").
  5. Retrieve the package and give it to the customer.
  6. Complete the handover in the app.

Returns (Customer Drop-off)

Sometimes customers want to return items or send outgoing mail.

  1. Customer presents a package with a label/code.
  2. Tap "Receive Return".
  3. Scan the package.
  4. Store it until the logistics driver comes to pick it up.

Problem Solving

"Invalid Code"

  • Ask the customer to double-check their SMS.
  • Verify the package is actually at your shop (check status).

"Damaged Package"

  • If a driver brings a damaged package, reject it in the app or mark it as "Received Damaged" and take a photo as proof. Do not accept liability for damage you didn't cause.
